The computer illustrations created by artist Jeremy Blake were so strong that it was almost impossible for me to pick just one as I began to design this. So I didn’t. I came up with the idea to have the package come out with four different cover options on its initial run. The label was not happy and did not want to do this. But after Beck’s insistence, they finally agreed. The pink cover is now the sole cover. The second side is a fifth color metallic silver. In the credits, Beck thanks me as the soldier. Sea Change is an amazing record. One of his finest in my opinion.
