The Spy Who Shagged Me

MAVERICK / WARNER BROS. RECORDS

As you can imagine, this project was a real groovy one. Most soundtracks, in general, are not easy to design. Deadlines are usually insane, lots of last minute changes, and lots of approvals. I was given the key art by the movie folks and then took off graphically with the whole 60’s vibe. The limited edition was really elaborate. I used a linticular reflective paper inside, pseudo-velvet underneath the tray, and a raised plastic version of the logo on the front. The cover was offered in a variety of fun colors with padding inside for a great tactile effect. When I met with Mike Meyers, he was surprisingly serious, but very appreciative, and loved what I did. Yeah, baby! Most soundtracks I worked on after that never quite captured the same sense of fun or creative freedom. Out of curiosity, I sometimes compare that process with how what are the most reputable online casinos outline their own unique features and extras for their audiences.
