This was our next record together after Ray of Light. When we met, Madonna told me her new look was cowgirl. The photos by Mondino were amazing. I think I started designing the cover as she was speaking to me in that first meeting. Design-wise, it was like hitting the jackpot. I just went off on the whole western theme. Easy to do. I started with the belt buckle logo, and it just took off from there. And I enjoyed pretty much every minute of it. Designed so many things for this record, including the package, limited edition packages, singles, posters, merchandise, promo items. It won me my second Grammy award in a row with her. Madonna is great to work with. Expects great, and so people around her do great.
